“We’ve developed the design together with the Project Manager and the owner – explains Mark Mills – who believe in a simple and light design. This vision has been essential in order to achieve the required performance and led to the design of an extremely stylish, water skimming, clean and uncluttered main deck, with all the sheave deck organisers running below deck up to the winches located at the bow in front of the rudders” says Mark Mills.
The Mills 75, made of carbon will have a swing keel: “This way it can make the most of the speed performance, given by the square-top mainsail” goes on to explain Mills.
